An eSIM is a digital SIM card embedded within your mobile device, eliminating the need for a physical SIM card. What is eSIM?
eSIM is a digital SIM card embedded within a device, such as a smartphone or smartwatch. Unlike a physical SIM card, there is no need to remove or insert an eSIM into the device. Instead, the eSIM is programmed to connect to network service providers. eSIMs use a technology called Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) to download SIM card data to the device. This technology allows users to switch network providers without the need to physically change the SIM card. With eSIM, users can add multiple numbers to their device, switch between them as needed, and avoid the hassle of carrying and inserting physical SIM cards.
